To Diet – No Need to Diet, Reduce Cheese & Butter to Lose Weight. When weight gain, most people confused to choose the diet that suits her body shape. In fact, a new study claims, reducing fat intake is enough to reduce a person’s weight without a diet program first.
Reduce consumption of butter, cheese, crackers, cookies and chips, and switching to low-fat milk and yogurt can help a person lose weight by 1.5 pounds in just six months at least. Even the fatter intake is stopped, the more weight loss.
A new study from the University of East Anglia, England is not only found that replacing fatty foods with low fat foods can lead to weight loss, but also produces a more slender waist, including a reduction in bad cholesterol levels.
“This regime produces a consistent weight loss for at least seven years, in fact we’ve seen in almost all experiments. Those who reduce more fat, they are losing more weight,” said lead researcher Dr. Lee Hooper of Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia.
According to Hooper, the effect was not dramatic way like diet. Because this study only looked at people who reduce their fat consumption alone but does not aim to lose weight so they still eat normal amounts of food.
“What surprised us was that they actually lost weight, decreased body mass index and waist circumference they become slimmer. And most importantly, it keeps a stable weight for at least seven years,” he added, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
The conclusion was obtained after researchers conducted 33 randomized clinical trials involving 73,589 people, men, women and children with a variety of health conditions for six months to 8 years. Comparisons were made between participants who reduce their fat intake by participants who continue to consume fat as usual (ranging from a quarter to a half of daily calories).
Six months later visible weight loss as much as 1.6 pounds, a reduction in BMI and waist circumference by 0.5 cm in participants who reduce their fat intake.
“We do not intend to avoid looking fat, saturated fat, even though we know that fat is said to be the worst effect on health. But reducing saturated fat intake lowers the risk of heart disease and stroke, and this so the healthiest way to cut saturated fat intake. Other words consume low-fat milk, yogurt, butter and cheese as well as reducing the meat, “said Hooper.
Researchers also suggest replacing fatty snacks such as crackers, cookies and chips with fruits only. “And remember, this is not a diet so do not do it to the extreme but rather to Hold on to a diet permanently. Besides reducing fat intake, particularly saturated fat, is actually just a good start. Balance also with active, do not smoke or drink alcohol, eating fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of fluids, “he concluded.
